It was a close match, but our winners consisted of a Howie, a Hawk, and a Pirate! The DPEMS 5th Annual Spelling Bee! began in class and then took place Oct. 6 during a whole-school Town Hall, where 6th, 7th and 8th graders participated against each other. Next stop is the Manhattan Borough-Wide Bee, which is still preparing to announce all the details. Stay tuned!
